St. Vincent School for the Deaf

Pridwin has strong relationships with its neighbour, St Vincent’s School for the Deaf. Both schools share sporting facilities and an auditorium on what is called the Joint Campus. Opportunities for learners of both schools to interact are exploited as much as possible, with St Vincent teaching Sign Language to our boys, sport matches being played between the two schools and staff collaborating on celebrations.

The Pridwin community supports St Vincent’s through a number of initiatives. The Tuesday bread and spread drive has now been running for nine years, contributing to a successful daily feeding scheme. In addition, the Mother Hubbard collection of food staples provides hampers for children in need to take home during the holidays. Our Grade 0s regularly invite the St Vincent’s Grade 0s to join them for picnics, further cementing the relationship between the two schools.

We are committed to creating opportunities that uplift others
