Nestled inside an exquisite garden, Bluebird PrePrimary provides a sanctuary of learning which embraces the wonder of childhood.
For over 70 years, Bluebird Pre-Primary has provided a nurturing learning environment for children aged 2- 6. This preschool in Hyde Park is nestled in a secluded garden to create a safe space where the wonder of childhood is fully embraced.

“Early Birds” is a unique programme which caters for toddlers and their parents/care givers. This multi-sensory programme has been designed by our team of early childhood specialists and caters for the unique needs of toddlers from 12-24 months. Our age-appropriate facilities provide the perfect setting for little people to explore and discover in a mediated learning environment. While the sessions provide access to all that Bluebird has to offer, the cherry on the top is being able to benefit from the expertise, guidance and support of our Bluebird team.

Fleming
Fleming Pre-Primary and Early Learning Centre is a co-educational pre-school catering for pupils aged 18 months to 5 years.
We have two properties in Craighall Park, Johannesburg, with 4 classrooms at the Early learning center (catering for ages 18 month to 3 years) and 6 classrooms at the Pre-primary center (catering for ages 3 years to 5 years).
Our curriculum is child orientated and adapted to the age, ability, and developmental stage of the children.
We aim to provide creative learning opportunities to foster creativity and the building of a sturdy foundation for the development of academic skills. We focus on higher thinking skills, multi-cultural understanding and on building a healthy self-esteem and resilience.
It is a recognized fact that quality pre-school learning experiences provide a sound foundation for future education. Confident, motivated pre-schoolers will enter school with a happy, positive approach to the new challenges awaiting them.

Greenpark
Greenpark is a loving, caring nursery school devoted to the education of young children, preparing them well for moving on to primary school, and giving them a solid foundation on which to grow into well-adjusted adults. The school has been running for over 50 years and is a fully-fledged, custom-built school.
- Greenpark Nursery School is an NFPO – an incorporated association not for gain
- Any profit made during the year is re-invested into maintaining and upgrading the school
- A Management Committee made up of current parents runs the business side of the school
- The accounts are maintained by the treasurer, a qualified accountant, and the books are audited annually
- Many parents at the school were themselves, pupils, at Greenpark and still reside locally
- Greenpark was the first local nursery school to accept children of all colors and creeds, even before this was a thought of or approved practice

Little Buckingham
We are a small Nursery School and Kindergarten aimed at children from 16 months – 5yrs old. Our school changed ownership in 2019 and was renamed to Little Buckingham Nursery School under the guidance of 3 passionate mums with Degrees in Education. These three Co-Principles aim to create a nurturing, play-based and experiential learning environment for little people in preparation for Grade 0.
Our class sizes are small and intimate with a low adult to child ratio, giving our little children the freedom, tools and opportunities to stimulate their minds and grow at their own pace.
Our sugar-free school offers parents insight into their child’s weekly activities and development, giving parents peace and mind, and inclusivity of their child’s learning journey.
Extra Murals and Aftercare until 4pm is available daily.
We are a community driven school and like to give back when we can. With parents support, we enjoy many different fundraising events throughout the school year and donate to charities requiring additional support.

Riviera
Riviera was established in 1955. It is set in a beautiful garden on a quiet corner of Birdhaven.
Riviera is a small school, comprising 3 classes, catering for children from 2.5 to 5 years of age. It is a warm, friendly and engaging environment which is renowned for developing close connected relationships with both children and parents, fostering a supportive community spirit.
We believe that the first 5 years are the most important period of a child’s life when they acquire the foundational skills required for all future development and learning. We pride ourselves in
fostering confident, happy and independent young children who develop an innate love of learning through our well balanced, stimulating and sensory play-based program. We incorporate all the varied educational methodologies into our daily program. Our fully qualified teachers prepare holistic, age-appropriate lessons encompassing music, numeracy, science, technology, perceptual, movement, songs, stories, drama, creative art, literacy and language activities.
Our aim is to ensure that our children leave Riviera feeling well prepared and ready to enter Grade 0.
